Tenants are liable to pay the actual cost of replacing any lost key(s). If the loss results in locks needs to be changed, the actual costs of a locksmith, new lock and replacement keys for the tenant and landlord will be charged to the tenant.
Landlords permission is needed before any alternations are made to the locks.
