Cold radiator

If your heating is on but the property is not heating up, it could be that the radiators are not working as effectively as they should. Run your hands over the radiators to check that they are heating all over. If not and its cold at the top, you might have to bleed your radiator to remove any air in it. Follow the steps below;

  1. Turn the central heating and hot water off and wait for the radiators to cool
  2. Place a dry cloth under the radiator to catch any water that may come out
  3. Use a radiator key to turn the valve (square bleed screw at the top of the radiator on the side or back)
