Founded in 1899 by Arthur S H Whitelock after acquiring his first parcel of land in Parkstone, the company continued to grow and worked on defence projects throughout the war. The company were mainly involved in the development of estates in the 80's building throughout Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Continue ReadingIn 1999, the firm celebrated its centenary and acknowledged the many thousands of properties (residential, commercial and retail) that have been built since the business was first formed, including the landmark Civic Centre in Poole, built in 1932.
Still a family run business today, The Whitelock Group is now in its fourth generation.
We are proud to still have tenants and homeowners who have been with us for over 50 years and in some cases spanned over many generations. We believe this is down to our company culture where we value each and every customer, supplier and member of staff as family.
